Not really concerned too much with looks, more interested in preformance. Any input guys? Also, where would I be able to find more information about the JIC setup? Thanks for reading my thread,
Derek

Well...i've read this question over and over so many times now :p :p
To cut a long story short...if it was me...get the Teins

It depends on what you want to do with them. Racing or auto-x'ing. Get the JIC's. If its just for street then get the TEIN or even the B+G's.
I had a chance to drive Dom's (Dpro) G20 with the B+G setup and it feels pretty good. I'd say even better than the TEINS. But time will tell to see how they hold up.

so the b+g's rode better than the teins...comfy-wise or handling-wise???

The B+G's feel stiffer but I was only driving on the street and never got a chance to push it.
The TEIN's have the adjustible shocks which the B+G's don't.
I don't really have a solid handle on the B+G setup yet as I haven't had it on an auto-x course or a race track yet. After I do one of those I'll have a better opinion. But from what I felt from Dom's car it looks OK.

yah, please let us know because the thing I noticed about my P11 is that the car corners well, but as soon as I push it and accelerate, understeers pretty bad.
my lude can take corners much faster and with almost no understeer.

cuz your lude has TEIN Type HAs...duh!!
anyway...I have the JIC coilovers on my G20 and it is pretty stiff...actually, you can almost say stiff as hell!!! but there's is a difference though, between "rough" and "stiff"...rough is like riding on blown shocks and the stiffness that hte JIC provides, actually feels pretty cool because the car feels very responsive.
I also had the TEINs before, and although you cant really compare JIC and TEIN (Tein is shock/spring set up witha djustable height and dampening), personally, i thought the TEINs are perfect for the street!
no comment on the B+G set up.

yeh...our hosting company sucks big time....seems to go down once a month!!!!
anyway...i've driven a 97 lude before and i thought the P11 actually handles better around the tracks. i actually thought the prelude feels a bit big and not as nimble as the P11?

luke- nnnnn, something on your friends lude was setup wrong probably. my lude is much faster through the turns and feels a lot lighter compared to my p11...especially now dat I have a VAFC in there talk about some good increases. but I can't say for all P11's because I never intended to drive my p11 like I do on the lude. Im sure with all the mods you have on your P11, you can whip some ass, but from my canyon carving experience, my buddy (in teg typeR) and I blew past a speeding lowered silver P11 in palos verdes. dat's where I first encountered a lowered P11 and just fell in love with its styling and ...ended up buying one. hehehe. :D
when I turn my lude to the max, the car slides neutral. when I turned my p11 to the max, it understeered, but after changing the setup last night, I cured that problem. I slid neutral as well. i just need a turbo kit or something in there to wake it up. :D
