CRVTEC or simple B18C1

I found a running driving 92 civic sedan with only minor body damage for 800 bucks. already a 5 speed too.

but I was thinking about putting in a B18C1 and a JRSC and boost upgrade.

But I really want to build a CRVTEC

how hard is it exactly. I saw a web page of a build of a LSVTEC. is it pretty much the same, you have to plug the old oil supply to the head and run the new lines and everything.

I plan on a B20B block
B16A comlete swap for 1150(and then sell everything but head and ecu)
or would it be cheaper to buy the long block for 450 and then sell the short block and find a B16A ecu.

will the B16A ecu control the CRVTEC?

I am gonna go with lightened flywheel and new clutch so i dont have to pull it out soon for a new clutch if i can do it during the build up.(integra, civic si, del sol vtec. a flywheel and clutch for any of those should work right, all b series?)

and vtec engines have oil squirters, B20 doesnt. can I have them put in? how much $$$ you think it'll cost? I plan on shifting at like 4 everyday driving, 6,500 for just quick driving and even racing I wont go past 8,500. do I need to have the oil squirters installed. I also plan on going with a small amount of boost with a supercharger and am going to put in an oil cooler in the front like a FMIC and am going to get a bigger radiator, colder plugs and 160 dgeree thermostat. wil all that keep it cool enough to not have the oil squirters installed.

I am gonna go to a machine shop and have the head matched to the 84mm bore. and should I have the block sleeved strengthen it up or is the concern more of the rods bending or somethign like that or is it of the piston bustoing through the cylinder wall?

and can you please give me links of car parts stores that have honda engine parts. I can find ford and chevy forged internals all day long but not for hondas.

also I am already planning on a high flow fuel pump and is the oil pump part of the engine or can I replace it with a higher flow design(hope so)

I heard the B20 has a very flat torque curve, but when I change the head and start messing with the desing of the stock engine, does it change tons and turn into the same thing as the smaller vtec engines to where it has not much down low until vtec hits or does it still retain its torquey nature? and if it stays torquey, would 4-1 headers be alright or should I still stay with 4-2-1?

another question about puting this engine into the civic. when I wanna buy a short shifter, do I buy one for a civic or one for a car with a b series in it?

I want to know also if this engine has LOTS more power than a B18C1` or would the money saved easily buuild it to compete with a CRVTEC?

sorry for so many questions but I want to know all i can about this before i decide to do it.
