the new model will be the G35 not G20. it will be a 6 cylinder, rear wheel drive, other different things i can't think of now. you can find pics and write-ups about it if you search the internet. i think that their is even a G35 site, but i don't know for sure.

I agree it's UGLY but I bet the performance figures are impressive.A mate of mine has just got a LEXUS IS200 SPORT which only has a 2.0L V6 6 speed and that goes like shit off a shovel compared with my PRIMERA 2.0L GT 1998 and is loads more fun to drive cos of the RWD and V6 motor, also has fantastic traction control (I drove it in the ice when he first got it earlyer this year) and it gives you just enough fun then takes control again when it get a bit to much out of shape.Much to his relief!!!!! He reckons he's a bit good behind the wheel and I heard from loads of people that he has scared the shit out of them with his "LIVE FAST DIE YOUNG" driving style but he made me stop and take the car home, and just when I was starting to have fun "PUSSY" or maybe I'm just a shit driver I prefer to think I am "progressive but swift"

Infiniti G35
AKA....
NISSAN SKYLINE!
They're finally taking it to the US.
Lost the AWD Thing..
Lost the Inline 6 twin turbo.... (276 HP)
But.. they put in the "great" Maxima v6 with a bit of mods..
270 HP
RWD.... (where's the damn AWD?)
0-60 is said to be about as fast, because V torque is better than Inline engines. Around 5 sec or so (mid 5's)

there are loads of stupid sayings from all over the UK give me a while while I think of some of the more obscure ones.
Maybe some of the UK readers especialy the Nothern ones could help me out here(my family are originaly from the north east) and there are some absolute PEARLERS as in strange but good ones from up there.
BAIRN as in child springs to mind (where the hell did that come from!!!!!!!)

G20 was never based off of the Sentra (true they did share some bits a peices). Nor it is based off of the Altima. The new G35 is the JDM Skyline GT Sedan. Sources inside Nissan say that the R35 Skyline GT-R has been given the green light for the US. Although it will not have an RB26DETT, it will have all of the nice GT-R bits (ie: AWD, EBFD (electronic brake force distribution), ASM (advanced stability management), TCS (Traction control system)). The engine will be a 400+ hp version of the new Q45 engine.

I back FlossinPrimera...I don't know where you guys hear all this weird stuff...but think about just buying a G35 frame and sticking a RB26DETT...I figure it should just bolt right in...what you guys think??

this is a little update. Both the G20 and the G35 will be produced.
My only question was if the G20 would have the new 2.5L, like in the Spec V?

Where did you get that information? Everything I've heard and read says the G20 is a dead duck.

the 2002 g20 was the last year for the g20, the g35 will replace it for sure as a 2003 model. it will hit the showrooms in spring and the coupe will come shortly after the summer. btw cost is aimed to be under 30K for the base model, if any higher most people will opt to go ahead and get an I35, its just logics

its a shame that they couldnt put a decent engine in the g20... something atleast 215 horsepower because the styling kicks ass... the front end on this g35 has got to go... those headlights are disgusting

Couldn't agree more with you Pist!
I got my 2002 G20 rolled and flipped. I am waiting to get the G35. By the looks of the concept, I am digusted with the front end. I might just go back to the 2002 G20 again. Sure enough, figures speak for itself but man when I drive that car down the road, I'd like attentions.
