are we talking upper or lower? upper balljoint (in upper arm) can't be taken out. you'll need to replace the upper arm.

the lower balljoint requires a tool. i really suck at explaining things. to spare you of the "take the thingy and use it to the remove the whatcha-ma-call-it"......check this out:

well if your talking about the front upper balljoints ,,ami is right that if you want to change them you have to buy a new control arm that has a new balljoint weilded on,,to get the screw part of the balljoint off the car i used this tool,,http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=40966

I have an OEM lower ball joint. I bought it from Honda, but it turns out I don't really need it. I'll sell it to you cheaper than you could buy it from Honda to save me the lost $$ on a re-stocking fee.

let me know if you might want it via a PM or e-mail or something

BTW - I also have a '91 4-door - welcome!
