Maxima Water Pump

:( Anyone ever changed the water pump on a '94 maxima? Mine is leaking. Yesterday i got out the tools and started trying to reach the pump. Removed the right ft tire, the plastic access pannel inside the fender well, the plastic pannel under the front end. Removed 3 belts plus the water pump pulley. Still can't get to the screws that attaches the water pump. It appears i will have to remove the timing belt cover. I think it would be easier to remove the engine from the car!!!

Just wondering if anyone has any advise?
