door speakers

a friend of mine at work just boght a 97 malabu LS and when he got it home from the dealer he realised the front speakers werent on we have had a couple people try to get the speaker cover off and we cant. does any one know if theres a trick to it or if we just have to pry off the grill. we really dont want to take off the door pannels if we dont have to

If you havent fiqured it on your own by now, you have to remove the entire interior panel to do so. I upgraded all the speakers in my car and purchased them from Crutchfield. They gave me all the instructions needed to remove the panels.:bandit:
