everone's first car

it's always intresting to know what eneryone's first car is because you get to see where they came from to where they are now. i know that when i first started out i didn't want a honda...didin't care for them unitl i met my future wife when i was 17. she drove a 1994 honda 2-dr civic ex. but my first car (i miss her :cry:...damn jiffy lube caused my engine to blow) was a 1993 (i think, mabey a 1994) blue Nissan NX2000 w/ the t-tops and 140 hp engine..got the car from a shady dealership and didn't need a down payment, insurance, or co-signer :D...bad thing was i found out years later was the intrest they were charging was 20%

my first car is still the same car i drive today which i love

1991 Honda CRX

my first was a chevy sprint..the smallest crapbox that they made prolly. i hated it..but i was always into cars...so i didnt just leave it stock
i added a few things... got the car when i was 15.
i had always wanted volkswagens but my callin at the time was hondas. so i ended up with a 94 honda accord when i was 17, (which i actually love.)
now i just turned 20 and my car has become my motivation for work and influences me and my friends weekend activities.
i also bought another honda that closely resembled the volkwagen i never purchased(volks around here are just too pricy) a 94 civic hatch.
so my accord is fully decked out and is currently gettin a jdm prelude vtec swap done.. and my civic is become my new best friend and gettin jdm corners and mugen rnr replicas at the moment.

oh did i mention one of my best friends has a 93 nx2000 with a sr20det swap and turbonetics turbo kit currently runnin about 12lbs? he shows it at nopi and other big shows...its pretty much a show car ..but itll move!
oh yea they only made nx's from 90-93. its a pretty rare car. even better to see some do work on em.

my first car is a 1989 Maxima SE 5spd, still got it too, i just got it in november for 2Gs. right now there's alotta little things wrong with it, loose wiring, the tape deck doesn't play tapes, the radio doesn't work if i turn on the rear defroster, no horn, and very slow power window, but my dad's an electrician so it won't be like that for long.

1988 red Ford Escort Pony....1.8 liter, 4 speed piece of shit.....paid $650 for it, and in the 2 years I had it, I spent at least $800 on new parts for it....it limped into the dealership when and I somehow still got $600 for it when I traded it in to get my DX sedan.

my first car was a 89 chevy celebrity, i still drive it to college

oh and those who say, if there are any here, that chevy cars are pos's that dont last over 100k. well my chevy has 192k on it, and ive been racing it since it was at 124k, so 70k of racing and its still runnin as strong as the day i got her, runs low 17s in the quater, just as fast as my civic.

My first and only love, I mean car :D would be my 88 CRX DX. I dont have plans on ever selling it. New engine and completely custom body work will eventually transform it into a "new" car.

in september when i totaled my 91 hb, i was going to buy one but they still go for +$5000.. sad to say but i would give up my 90 hb for it...loved those t-tops

My first car was a 93 integra, it was pretty sick. I sold it because I was going to get a 300zx TT. That deal didnt go through, so I bought a 95 prelude, which i didnt really want. Then, I bought my CRX, because I'd been in love with em my whole life, and sold the prelude. Thats my car history.

my first car was 1 year ago...

I got a vauxhall Nova 1.2 injection pumping out a huge 55bhp.

I had it lowered 60mm on 14" rims with a mountney steering wheel and 4" exhaust and I paid £1000 for third party fire & theft!! in England that was quite cheap insurance for a first car.

my first is the one I have now. I got it just over a year ago....my 91 civic si!;)

My first car is my 90 Honda Civic Std. Hatchback. I got it when I was 14, a couple months before I was going to get my learner's permit they changed the law so that you couldn't get your learners untill you were 15 and 6 months, and then you have to have it for nine months before you can get your liscense so that puts the minimum driving age at 16 and 3 months. What the hell is three months going to do? anyway I only have four weeks left before I can finally drive.

I am 18, and I got my 91 LX sedan in January of 2002, after being run into a ditch in the MG thanksgiving of 2001. I spotted my car at a local shop the other day, so I think the new owners are working on it.

My 1st vehicle was a 60's Vespa 125 Primavera, when I was 15.
My first car was a 70 VW Baja Bug..... The first offroad vehicle in Napa with bass..... at that time (1987) everyone was like :eek: what the hell!
Unfotunetly it met it demise 1.5 years later when I hit a tree head-on at 60mph racing a friend down a country road. I ripped the front left side off the car, back to the windshield, which flew out & landed about 25feet in front of me. Since then i've had 4 bugs, 1 fastback, 2 mercedes, 3 hondas, 1 nissan truck, 1 4runner, 1 cabriolet, & 1 GTI.......oh yea & my ninja.

What was i thinking:confused: ?
P.S. .......... I also wrecked another bug & the ninja. (those were not my fault)

going to a xmas eve party in 2000, i was driving up my road and hit a patch of black ice....slammed into a parked car doing 25 and wrecked my sentra...wrecked the 2000 camry i hit too...got a severe concussion from hitting the steering wheel before airbag deployed, then once it deployed got burns all on my face from it..the tire leaning against the car rolled down the road for 50 ft or so before it fell over...miss that car :(

my first car was a 1986 pontiac sunbird......hatchback sunroof 5spd....it had a new paint job and a new motor......it met its death 1yr after I bought it when I drove it into a lake/river............:( then I got a 1990 toyota celica gts that I trashed....then my 4th gen then a 1989 festiva with an american flag on the roof bmw emblems and a racing strip,eyelids and 253,000 miles it runs off duct tape.....p.o.s......haha.....

my first car was an 85 crx, auto, no air, piece of shit, but i loved it. its what started the obsession. i traded a computer for it after many failed attempts of talking my parents into getting me a car. 2 weeks after i got it my parents felt bad because it was such a pos that they gave me a plymouth sundance. i was happy and pissed all at the same time. since iv had a 98 cavy, 01 neon (still have) and now my baby 90 civic si hatch

I didn't paint it, the previous owner did, that was a $5,500 paint job which was done about 10years ago and still looks new. Then why did you buy a painted Delorean, you may ask. Well, it was the only Delorean for sale within 200miles, and I really wanted a Delorean.:D

Would you believe-a 1961 FIAT 600D. Yes indeedy folks it had a rear mounted water cooled aluminum 4 cylinder running thru a 4 speed transaxle mounted ala Porsche. Then came a TR-3 and 35 years (gad I'm old) of Fords, including a '67 GT-350. Now we have 4 Hondas.

1st - 1990 Ford Escort 1.3l and it had a whopping 4 gears :) sadly the car could not take me driving it so the engine blew, swapped out the engine for another 1.3l just for that one to blow 4 months later, so i swapped it for another 1.3l then sold it :)

2nd - 1988 Vaux Astra mk2 1.3 Pile of pants this thing had the speed of a snail. I was moving to Spain so i sold it for £50 :).

3rd - Very old Datsun Sunny think it was a 1.3 this was not really mine but i was driving it. This thing had an amazing 0-60 time somthing liek 2 hours :)

moved back to the uk

4th - 1991 Honda Civic :) Still got this one.

5th - Saab 9000 turbo got this one to thrash around up at Santa Pod drag track :) started to strip the turbo on it then decided against it and scrapped it.

6th - 1990 Vaux Astra 1.8 SRI pile of pants that failed it MOT need work done to it to make it road legal lol..

My first car was my CRX.. saw it on the side of the road, and bought it before I even had a license.. I thought I had stock pictures, but I guess they are at my old house.. I took a bunch of pictures the first night I got it.. but it was like this minus the tint, lowering, and exhaust..
