The Tamiya Enzo will be released on December 19th, that's just three days away! (more or less depending on where you live!) So put those preorders in because this kit will surely not stay in HLJ's warehouse for long! :D

If you get lucky, you could get yours shipped to you by Christmas! It'd look beautiful under your tree!

So, what plans do you have for it? I think I'm painting mine black...

I'm thinking of getting this kit as well. What colur paint would it need for the chassis and interior? When i order with HLJ i usually order a load of paint .

A friend of my sister will be hunting for it in Hong Kong.

hmm, im not really into the italian cars and the ferraris but the Enzo is a damn fine car. If i see at at my ghetto hobby shop i'll pick it up. They get like evry Tamiya model in, and they never sell out because they are in the middle of no where.

I have about 5 hobby shops close to here. So I should be able to pick one up.

I'll be waiting till after Xmas to get one....bad time of the year with so many other things going on.

It's got to be red though :p

I'm going to wait for an Enzo. See if they mold them in yellow or black...I think modern red Ferraris look like 1:1 scale models...but in yellow, black, white, or any metallic they are knockouts. I'll likely build a black one.

But since a store I visited yesterday was selling new Tamiya/Fujimi kits for 1/2 price (going out of business), I have plenty of new kits to add to my 300 year stash (yeah, I'll have to live to be 300 to finish them all!).

Goodies yesterday include:

2001 Impreza WRX/WRC
Mugen S2000
Tamiya Modena Spider
911 GT2 road version club sport
99 Celica
Mazdaspeed RX7

I don't know if it's possible, but we could try to make 1 big order and maybe save some buck ?

You know, if we are 20 or more that want this kit, maybe we could save a bit when ordering 20 kits ?

just asking cos here, I won't be able ot buy it before february or march ! damn Canada :(

Welll, if i get my hands on one of those quite expensive , but super detailed kits, i think i'll be painting it either marlboro red, like shumacher's special edition, not the standard red on ferrari's, but the f1-type red, or, i 'll be building a nice black one, like jean todt ordered one ;-) but first i 'll have to find the Enzo!!!

I don't see any real sign on eBay, Y!Japan auctions, HLJ or Hobby Search...

Now I see that Rainbow Ten has the 20th listed...

As we say here in the south, y'all are nuts!

As they say everywhere else, it takes one to know one:devil:

Y'all have fun with the Enzo, I'm going to attempt to wait out and see if Tamiya molds it in black or yellow...thus giving me time to work on a few other projects.

So who will be the first here at A/F to post pics of a completed Enzo??? Any wagers???

Easy easy. It's only shipped from the factory in Shizuoka to the distributors on 18th. The retail stores will probably get it in the afternoon of 20th. Neither Hobby Search or Sakamoto Shouten (both are distributors) haven't got it as of 18th.
Hobby Search is probably the 1st to list the inventory info.
Oh, and most of Japanese stores open at 10:00am. Some are early, some are late.

My order is in payment processing. :)

OPM, it seems the 1/24 kit will share the same packaging design as the 1/10 RC picture you posted. :)

I have, it appears this kit has a fairly high parts count for Tamiya. It isn't a quick build project for sure, but the built in detail is very nice!:D

I think a nice, dark metalic lavender would look nice.

Very unique. Only trouble would be finding an interior color to match it. Maybe off-white or creme.

I think I'd go with a bright metalic orange, with red and black interior.
