My New Money Pit

I decided I don't need my money. So... I built a mountain bike :D

Trek 6500 frame
Mostly Shimano components.

Next purchases, new paddles (Me wants clips), new hubs, and disk brakes :)

I'll try and get some pics soon.

Don't forget teh Alteezas and NOS bottle :D :finger:

I'm not familiar with mountain bikes (still use my ten speed that I bought twenty years ago). How much does something like that run?

Only thing I would have done different is an 8000 ZX frame, but I am a 'retired' racer.
My wife has a 6500 WSD and it is a great bike, so I am sure yours is too,

My own bike is a Giant ATX-Team.....it's the one I used to race and is still covered in sponsored stuff....that I kept...hehe...

I hope you enjoy the bike, nothing beats a good bike ride!

Yep, problems at work. I've been banned from posting on AF while at work. :o The IT department got a bit "annoyed" with the amount of time I spend on AF. My boss doesn't have a problem with it, but the IT department do. To cut a long story short, my boss is now giving me lots of work so I'm not bored anymore. :) Still can't get onto AF at work though, so that kind of sux. :(

Don't worry Spec2- Send $5000 my way and I'll make sure you get back onto AF :D

Hey Gonthrax thought you was heading downunder here? Is that still the plan or has that been binned.

Bugger Andy, oddly enough I was able to talk the IT guy who contracts for us at work to hook me up. So once in a while I surf and even fire up mIRC hahahaha, though the boss tends to get a bit shitty if it is not on break time. Funny that.
