interior and clear coat

right, I've finished the interior on my Revell Dodge Viper GTS and I wonder if I should put a layer of clear coat on it. there are no side windows in this kit, so dust may get in once the model is finished.
what do you guys do with the interior? of course I would not use shiny clear coat but the more "dull" one. I think it would also protect the decals on the cockpit better.

any help appreciated

Dullcoat is good to use as it will offer some protection for the paint and even things out. I hope you are going to airbrush it, It's way to heavy out of the can.

Find a clear plastic model display case to put it in. I uy a case for each model so it doesn't get messed up after I finish it.:)

many thanks for the advice. I have some kind of a glass cupboard where I put my models in, but since I wanted to do a clear coat on the body of the car anyway, I wondered if it would be useful to cover the interior as well.

yes, I'm going to airbrush it. since my Kager airbrush is currently broken, I bought a cheap (12,99 euro) revell airbrush (suited for large painting areas) and believe it or not, I'm really happy with it.

Shiny interior would look funny..:bloated:

I'd say just make some windows out of clear styrene or some photo film.
