Looking for some people to do a little off-road trip in the Omaha, NE area. Just moved here from Phoenix about a year ago and still haven't really found any good places to go offroading aside from lots of muddy fields. :)

If anyone has any ideas, or is in the area (!), drop me a line or post here. [email protected]

These boards seem to hate me as I get like 50% chance of loading a page. :(

I'm not in Omaha, but darn close, Des Moines Iowa, Not an X owner, drive a 2000 Frontier Crew Cab, but I still enjoy some good wheeling :D

Oh and it is the server, I believe, that this site is on, that causes troubles from what I have read.

Well a co-worker told me about a place not more then 15 minutes from my front door, on the river, went by and it looks like some good trails with a bit of some mud, didn't explore beings I didn’t want to get stuck and I was by myself.

Also there is a place just out side of Knoxville, Iowa called Clay Fields or Clay Hills, that is supposed to be an ORV park, might even go by there this weekend also, is not but 30 minutes from where I live. Heard it might be a PAY to PLAY ORV park.

Also heard of a place between Cedar Rapids and Iowa City called 600 acre park, heard it has some awesome trails, rocks and some mud. I am going to go look around in January to see what it is like. Seen some pictures from another Iowa Offroad club and they show some good wheeling. Also Heard that this place might also be a PAY to PLAY park.

As far as anything a tad closer to you, there is a place called Tuttle Creek ORV park south of you In Kansas, off of Highway 77, maybe 3 hours tops drive from Omaha Nebraska, came back through Omaha but can not remember how long it took. We went there last month and had a blast. Members from GPXO, HXOC and MANC went down there, along with a couple of Jeeps. Here is a link to some pictures my girlfriend and I took when we were there TUTTLE CREEK PICTURES (http://groups.msn.com/MidWestALLNissanClub/shoebox.msnw)
The nice thing about Tuttle is we went in my bone stock Frontier and not once did we get stuck, good trails, mud and Rock climbs from Mild to WHAT THE HELL!

Will keep you posted on what them other places are like as soon as I go check them, I will also take pictures while there :D

Also if you happen to find any place to wheel there locally let me know, I wont hesitate to drive over there and wheel with you any time, heck only 2 hours tops, drive to Omaha from Des Moines.

ahh yes, pushing 1Hardbod94 so he wasnt blocking the trail.

Apperently his ECU and Tranny was just causing to many problems, it is a long story, but that HB would run for about 2 minutes then it would act like the transmission just died. Oh and one of them pushing that truck is me
