Want to install intake...what to do with sensor?

Im trying to get the stock air box out of the car and put in a intake filter, sorta like the stillen ones, but we sell some different ones around here too. Now...there is a sensor in the tube that starts out near the headlight..im assuming if i take that out my SES light would come on. What do I do with that? Are there any other sensors along the airbox that would mess up if I take it out? Thanks

I extended my sensor wires and drilled a hole in the chrome plate and rubber lining of the POP. The stock rubber grommet that is attaching the sensor to the stock plastic tube is then used to hold the sensor in the POP. I'll try and get a pic for you soon. The people who've seen it say it looks stock.

What I did before hand was to leave the tube and the sensor in place.
