help out the noob guy!!! plz!!

hi my name is Adam i joined af.com on sun 15 december i just brought a tamiya 1/24 ferrari spider and not allowed to open it till xmas and i brought a mica red spray paint.i wuz flicking through some ov ur pics and wuz wondering how the fu*c*k do u get that awsome shine and do those window bracket things (the black rimming thing) and wat color should i use 4 the interior and the wheels and iz mica red dark or light shiny or dull can u plz show me a pic ov it on a model ?!? and wats this primmer thing and clear sh*t and iz tamiya rubbing and polishing compound good or not 4 the body and how many coats ov mica red should i do?

Anyway, welcome to the forum.
You sound like you know something about the products, you mentioned, but you don't know how to use them yet? Well, reading FAQ near the top of the board is strongly recommended, or you only get the same replies, "Read FAQ."
If you thoroughly read it, it should solve almost all of your problems.
And which color to use for the body and interior is totally up to your taste, but if I were you, I'd use white or tan for a metallic red body.

sorry man i wuz half asleep and i typed that one in around 2 mins ok and plz send me a pic ov mica red on a model or a real car

I always love it when you get noob's on the forum and they are demanding the world without reading the FAQ.
Mica red is dark metallic red, and if you have Tamiya paint, then look at the cap on the spray can and get an idea of what it looks like. The lids are not far off of what the actual color is.
As to what to paint the interior, when you pop open the box on your model on Christmas morning, there are instructions in there that will tell you how to paint it.
You can also go to a online shop like www.1999.co.jp to see if they have the kit there, often they will have copies of the instructions for you to view with the kits, if they have the instructions scanned and published on the site, then you can look at them there.
I am sure you will enjoy the model, only 10 days till Christmas:)

hi i know this iz a little early since i havent even started my 360 spider yet but im thinking about getting 1 ov these cars but i cant choose which one casue i dont know if they fit together good or not (they are all tamiya models the only models worthy ov being called good)

Clear coat is good, but it is personal preference I think, you could do a forum search on it to find out more, I don't use it myself.
Before you start drooling? Grab a towel and put it under your chin so you don't get saliva on the kit.

Why don't you just try things out, experiment. Thats one of the fun parts of this hobby :D .

It sounds like you want everything done for you. There are people you can send the kit to for them to make it for you, you know ;) .

I changed my mind about my next model. I'm gonna get the new 1/24 Tamiya Nissan Skyline GT-R Vspec 2. That's right, Vspec 2. I'm painting it white, when I get it too. And if I have some extra cash, I might get the Nissan 300ZX, but is that a good set, both of them? And is the 300ZX convertible good and easy too, because it looks way cool.......!?

hi i just got da mica red paint on the model like 5 mins ago its 11:55 am here in nz im just gonna put the 2nd coat o0n in 5 mins and where do i get 1200 grit sand paper!!!!

hi got the 2nd coat on and this color doesnt look like anything on any web site or da lid ..IT LOOKS WAY ****ING BETTER a little ruby in it but not much only if u look hard enough

hi i changed my mind once again i saw this very cool 300zx going on the auckland moterway(freeway) but it was that chameleon color ..im not gonna paint it that color but where do i get that paint from...

ill paint it a dark blue or dark green or even a silver... plz give me sum suggestions and i like metallic paints too

I don't have a clue why its not showing up. Did you upload it properly? It will need to be 100x100 pixels big or less and will have to be smaller then 14Kbytes I think. If you upload it properly you will haev to ask Jay or another moderator to look into it.

Just PM him, you're bound to get hold of him sometime. Your pic for your avatar needs to be 100x100 pixels or small or it wont work.

That picture is too big, you will need to use Photoshop to size it down to 100x100. Then try to upload it and it should work. There is no need to contact Jay just yet, unless it won't work after you resize it.

You get a star when you get to 100 posts

In your sig you need to fix it up.
In the last [img] box in each pic you have to put a / in front of the i to make it work so we can see the pics. :)
