gullwing doors

how do i convert a crx to have gullwing doors and where can i get then done in the uk

Gullwing doors are totally custom for a CRX. So you have to find a good shop that would have to custom make everything, expect to pay around $10,000 for that conversion.

in the UK? damn your gonna have problems, im not really sure where you can go. but post on here if you find anywhere

they dont make it four our cars currently...they only make it for 96-00 civics

that aint A gullwing door
gullwing doors where on a old mercades (i cant spell) and they were latched at the top of the door and flipped up hench the word wing in the name of the door not flipping forward

I know that but I'm still interested in price cause maybe one of my friends would wanned to buy that at our place, I give them all info of all stuff that they can get and they are all pretty much thankfull for any info. that I give them or the part that I can manadge them :p

definatly interesting, but i would ask them to send pics of it done on the civic. im not to sure about hem front mounted doors sliding up though ... just not the same as the delorian (sp?).

i think it looks pretty damn cool, if it was around 5-600 i would buy it

i'm not doing gullwing style doors, but i'm doing lamborghini style..my parts alone are costing me about $800...i'm sure that i could have gotten them around $600

I CHECKED OUT THOSE AUCTIONS ON EBAY... I PERSONALLY WOULDN'T TRUST THEM B/C THEY DON'T HAVE A PICTURE OF "THEIR" CAR ON THE SITE...JUST PICS THE COPIED FROM OTHER SITES....AND IT'S HARD TO HAVE THE VERTICAL DOORS ON THE 4THG'S B/C OF THE DOOR SILL. I THINK THAT THEY'RE REFERING TO THE "BUTTERFLY" STYLE IN WHICH YOUR DOORS KINDA SWING OUT. I'M WORKING ON MY OWN BUT WOULD GLADLY BUY IT IF AND ONLY IFI SAW A PIC OF "THEIR" CAR OR AN "ACTUAL" CAR THAT USED THAT KIT AND THE DOORS ACTUALLY WERE LAMBORGHINI STYLE AND NOT "BUTTERFLY" STYLE

couldn't have your doors come straight up like that with thr 4th grn because of how the door sits when closed. would have to have the door come out then up

thats how the kit works allows the door to open out then up but there is a bar you move and the door can open normal

so the door actually slides out and then p like in the crx i posted above???????:confused:

those eclipse doors are booty:apuke:

no the doors open at the factory hinge point then go up and then when there up all the way they fold back in if you did not open the door up people would not know you had the kit opens normal
