Nemesis sucks!!! Spoiler warning!!!

Ok i just watched star trek nemesis and i have to say it sucks old school.It is by far the worst of the next gen movies.My only guess to why it was so bad it is because Jonathan Frakes (Riker)did not direct this one.

There are so many things wrong with it is not even funny. What is the conection between the Romulan empire and the Roman empire?Conflict between the romulan home planet named Romulus and its sister planet Remulus?????WTF lets ripp off roman empire history now. And by the way the romulan capital looks exactly like the reconstructed pictures od Cartagena again WTF.
Get some original ideeas and stop ripping off history!!!
Lets see what else sucked. The cheap drama. BTW you can see that Data will die in the end about halfway into the movie that how predictable the plot is.
Funny scene is a fight between riken and some alien scene that looks exactly like the fight between luke and vader on bespin including with the fall into the abiss. This promted one of my friens to yell I'm your father wich was about the funniest thing in the movie.
Also look at the monitor that Picard has on his desk. You will be able to buy at your local computer shop> its so obviouslly a standard LCD monitor with a copper colored frame wich BTW does not cover the plastic in the back.
there are so many other things wrong that my monitor tube will die before i finish.



So in the words of a very wise Simpson character: Worst Startrek Ever!!!

I thought the picture was looking pretty good in the previews. I'll definitely think twice about going to see it now. Thanks for the heads up!!

Im sorry to hear that you thought it sucked. Sure, there were some problems with the storyline, but I actually thought it was quite good.

The monitor bit was quite funny. Most of the time in the movie you see monitors that slide up out of the desks, but they made that mistake at the end. Its just a simple flat-screen. Are they trying to tell us that monitors have not advanced in technology ANY between today, and then?

I really did like the action (specifically the ship battle), and if you can put aside some of the minor problems, its actually pretty good.

It was cool also, since its close to x-mas, the theatre is running movies in the afternoon on weekdays. First showing was at 12:50pm, so most ppl were either working or highschool kids are still supposed to be in class. There were only like 20ppl there then, and it was great. Perfect seats, no one talking and plenty of room to relax. :D

EDIT: It was DEFINITLY left open for another film. I know that some ppl were saying its the last one, but it was definitly set up. The following things make me belive this.

1. Enterprise was fully repaired at the end.
2. the B4 Android was whistling like data did on the holodeck (ST:TNG)
3. No other main characters were killed off.

Riker and Troi left for another ship, but I have no doubt that they will make another. Problem is, they better do it soon. Picard, Troi, and Riker are looking really old.
