Import Thug vs Me (long)

Why must most import drivers bring in gang mentality into a car related sport? You go to any Drag event, and its just a buncha guys racing... true the Ford and Chevy guys might not be the bestest of friends.. but they dont think they're 'thugs'. For example a few months ago there was a shooting at a local track between gangs... neither gang hit each other, hit an innocent by stander was.. and died. WTF?

Reason why I bring this up, This evening coming home from TerminalVs house Im cruisin along, come to a light and I see what looks like CRX headlights but im not sure.. Guy pulls up behind me extra close like with in 3ft of my rear bumper. Im thinking... "....Whatever". Light goes green I take off, guy pulls out into lane next to me on my right. By now im chuggin along at 35mph (limit) he's pacing me, then for no damn reason he just speeds up and cuts me off... I thought I was getting hi-jacked or some shit (F&F :D) but he just cuts me off for no apparent reason. We're the only two cars on the road mind you. He the returns to his original lane... I figure ok.. maybe there was something in the road. We continue on... And the little shit does it again! Now Im pissed.. cause this fool is driving extra crazy (like a drunk driver).

His passenger hangs out the window and is yellin crap at me(while the car is still in motion), not sure what he was yellin but he sure was throwing gang signs. He was a mexican (not being racist, but thats what he was). So now, Im like Ok.. if you're going to try to 'terrorize' me.. try harder so I take truck out of overdrive and mash the pedal and close the gap inbetween us of about 20ft? In no time.. passenger got nervous as hell. hahaha.. jumped back into his seat and the CRX boned out.

I wasnt done with him, so I gave chase down the road. He tok this turn at a light which is easy to carry your speed through... I guees he figured my Blazer of 5200lbs cant corner well.. so he takes the turn 9000 fast but slowed down for it. I on the other hand dont slow, but take the turn at speed accelerating out of it like the F1 car my truck is :D... I made up the ground between us immediately. He then started to dart back and forth to one lane then to the other and back again... I just sat in the middle of our two lanes gaining ground on him. Next light ahead is red he slows a bit as do I, It turns green and takes off... I got a jump on him cause I watched the other light go Red so my pedal was already down before our light turned. Needless to say by the time we cleared the intersection I wasnt more than 4ft from his rear. We're doing about 60ish. His passenger was peeking out the window like "oh shit... what have we started..."

Finally, I let off brought myself down to normal speeds.. He continues on doing his 60-or-so-mph. I come up to a light, and there he is. By now I've had my 'fun'. I pull into the left turn lane to turn, he's in the far right. They're low enough, and Im high enough off the ground that they cant see my face. But I can see the enough of them to know they're eye ballin me all 'hard' cause they're tough. Light is about to turn for me to go left and they start yellin crap something about "whitetrash hillbillies need to lay off the booze" haah something along those lines. So now Im like Im going to finish this... I turn my wheel hard right slam her into low and mash the pedal. My truck for its size can turn on a dime.

So, now Im litterally charging them full bore (broadside mind you)... guy revs to high hell dumps his clutch (light is green by the way) and speeds away. I was off the gas and on the brakes, I just gave the impression that I was going to hit them. Anyways, he takes of like a bat outta hell and down the street and onto the freeway on ramp and off he went.

So here I am sitting across 3 lanes on road laughing my ass off. I take off down this other street, flip a U-turn and come home. I know it was extremely dumb, so no lectures please... during the whole time There wasnt a single other car on the road. Which is rare around here.. at that time of night.

He basically got a really good view of this :D

But thinking about it... I dont think they couldnt of been much older than 16... they both certainly didnt look like it from what I could tell.

I've gotta assume they were out joy riding, thinking they were badasses... I've never seen the car before in the area (doesnt mean anything, hundreds of cars in the area)... Well whatever :P

I hate people that do that just cause u have a honda u dont need to act badass cause u think it is cool cause hondas are "in" now and everyone has one and the people that do are "cool" i'm so sick of them i just love the civics with TIPS not full exhaust and try to race my vibe and i smoked the fuck out of them (vibe 180hp 6speed - civic 109hp automatic) lol give me a break!!! Like I said earlier I dont think they've been driving for long, the car didnt have a fart can or tip. stock as they come... but by the way he was pulling I think it was like that VX model? with like 80hp or whatever... thing couldnt out run me if its life depended on it. oh lord, I hate that too. People like that give all Honda drivers, (those that do modification, at least) a bad name. People get shitty little cars and then put all this riceriffic stupid shit on them and then they drive like complete dicks. Notice how all the shitty cars that get souped are always owned by the same type of person....

My problem is that I speed with or without my Honda. I don't drive stupidly or recklessly, just faster than the limit. I drove fast in my Plymouth P.O.S. Acclaim. But I never was a bad driver, I just sped too much. No wrecks, no tickets, never get up on peoples asses, never cut people off (unless its absolutely necessary,) and people don't really care as long as I'm not being a dumbass about it, which I'm not. The only time I ever get people pissed off at me is when I've got my undercar lights on. (or when they're dicks first and I get pissed at them) I don't know if it's just the perception but if I've got my undercar lights on people cut me off, act like dicks, flip me off, I get these pathetically shitty cars eying me and revving and shit.

I've told the story about the asshole in the pickup with my undercar lights a few times so I'll spare ya'll that one.

I had a gun pulled on me with my Acclaim. I was doing 55 in a 45 and this giant pickup just guns from way back and gets literally at the most a foot from my ass end. Unexaggerated, all I could see in my rearview was his grille. Doing almost 60 now. I'm pissed because that's the one thing I hate the most about other drivers and he was doing it worse than I'd ever seen. So I figure I'll slow just to the speed limit and see how he likes it. Since speeding just doesn't seem to be good enough for him. I made the fatal mistake of braking to slow and he knew I did it on purpose, but I did it through an intersection so it looked like I may have been slowing to turn. We get into a two lane part and he goes FLYING by me, cuts me off and stops dead in my lane of the road. I stop behind him and turn to my friend and say "well at least hes not getting out with a gun", immedietly afterwards he proceeds to start getting out. I drive around him and keep going. He comes flying up next to me again and with his entire waste up hangs out the window SCREAMING at me that hes gonna kill me and my friend and telling me to stop the car or he'd stop it for me and kick both our asses. I'm trying hard as HELL not to laugh cuz I could just picture him driving straight into the back of some granny cuz he wasnt looking at the road. (I do stupid things when other people are yelling. Last time a guy finished yelling I asked him if he 'felt better now?' and about got my nose broken) My friend turns to the guy and says "dont kick my ass, hes the one who did it". Thanks, Charlie. So then the dude is really pissed, he says something about a shotgun and I finally take a good look over. He's got his 3 or 4 year old daughter in the back seat and apparently his wife, neither looking pissed or worried. and I see the butt of a gun emerge from the back seat (where his daughter is, imagine that.) I finally decide enough is enough and pull off at a side road. He slams his brakes and actually tries reversing down the biggest road in our city (speed limit now 55) but traffic picks up and he cant. we park in a parking lot and see him go by around where we pulled off 3 or 4 times before giving up.

The people who always seem to be the biggest dicks are the people who get the most pissed, typically. I just dont get it.

Yeah, good ol road rage. You have to recognize though, that no matter what you do, you're going to piss off someone. The important thing is not to care, it's their problem.

Of course, driving a civic with underglow, you're going to get quite a few people who aren't going to like it, some of whom may do crazy things like trying to shoot you...

My dad had his friends Hemi Cuda (yes i know DROOOL) and we had it for the weekend cuz he was going outta town and wanted us to watch it (car maniacs dont ya love them) So we took to out for an hour or 2. and this wannabe pulled up next to us and was like...is that an ORIGINAL hemi?? we are like yaaaa...And he goes wanna race. being that it wasnt our car we said no. We pull up to the next light and he follows calling us all sorts of dumb ass names. And finally my dad goes...lets just send it off the line just once ..i agreed and the ricer was happy...so we pulled off...kicked his ass majorly (wouldnt suprise me if it was still stock) and beat him by 2 car lengths to the next light. He got wicked pissed and when we went to turn he blocked the road and SAT THERE in the middle of an intersection blocking us. He got out..my dad goes HOLY FUCK THIS ISNT GONNA BE GOOD and he gets out his pistol from under the seat. my dad (not wanting to get a hemi cuda riddled with bullets) smokes the tires and whips it around and pulls off...the ricer tried to chase us but i think he stalled

The other time was in his 74-75 something Corvette big block. that was just another loserish redneck (NO OFFENSE) in his beat up ford trying to get us to give him the pink slip (hahahaha) and he got out his dumb ass rifle and my dad pulled away and he (redneck) smoked his tires and ended up blowing one...we left

there was another time that a pickup was tailgating me really bad so i just slowed down (not in US highway code or whatever its in the UK highway code) so he went right.
WELL at that point i sped up.
This really pissed the dude off because he swerved across all the lanes to the right hand lane tailgatted someone else then swerved infront of me.
This didn't have any effect on me and i didn't bundge but he couldn't have been much further than 1/2 a foot away or something.

I remember coming home from work one day, some punk in an Altima with his girlfriend started pacing me and revving next to my Civic. After about 5 minutes of it, I downshifted and gunned it, if anything, to get rid of his ass. Well, after a few seconds, I had him about 5 cars behind me, with him not gaining and actually falling back, I let it go hoping he'd be happy with it (he instigated it:rolleyes: ). Bitch-ass, decides to fucking do a fly-by and brake hard in front of me:mad:!!!

So, I chased the asshole, with him cutting me off at every chance, since he realized from the first "race" that that was his only chance of fending me off (I just wanted to get next to hime and yell at his ass, and hopefully embarrass him in front of his girl). He even tried running me into another car!!

Probably feeling desperate due to a red light in front, he fakes going straight at the red light, then cutting into the left turn lane at the last second, hoping to lose me. Well, my car being more nimble than his, was able to get behind him. I jumped out my car, sleeveless shirt and all (let's just say I work-out and you can tell ;) ), and I was seriously gonna stomp on his cheap exhaust tip, but he gunned it and cut across three lanes of (stopped, lucky for him) traffic making a right from a left-turn lane.

Well, that's my little story of road rage...:devil:

I had my ass handed to me in such a bad way by an F-150 lightning, that i was ashamed to show my car off on the streets for a week. But then again f-150 lightnings are pretty fast...

it sux when people wanna race u or do stupid stuff when u have minor visible mods on ur car....the only time i can think of when my muffler really helped me was a couple days ago when i was on 664 and doing 70 (speed limit 55) and i see this car get over and start coming up in the fast land and i was in the middle abou to get in the fast lane b/c i was approaching a car in front of me....long story short....i get over and this cavalier comes up doing about 80 and gets on my butt....about 2ft or less....so i slow down a little drop it in third and all he hears is this reallly deep and really loud wwwhhhhhoooooooooooo sound of my muffler....i had to crack a smile b/c he sut ofer 2 lanes...sped up and got back over in the fast ladn......i know tis has no releverence
