What silver would be the closest match for this wheel?
Tamiya Chrome silver
Tamiya Flat aluminium
Testors magnesium
Gunze silver/super silver
Any others?
The wheel lugs would best be done with Alclad highly polished chrome, I think.

I guess this is an easy question to answer. Spray each type of color on something which ever silver matches best is the one you should pick. The silver on those wheels look glossy so I guess after spraying the wheels you should spray clear over the wheels or polish them to give that glossy look. :) I hope I've helped you.

I was painting a muffler in Revell Silver paint. (It has either "90" or "06" on the top). And I polished it with some tamiya compund to see if it would come out real shiney. It didn't. But it looked much the same as that colour.

The problem with most silvers is they turn grayish when you put clear over them. The best thing to do is experiment on some scrap plastic to get the look your satisfied with.:)
