Yeah, Over Rev is pretty good~
I like how it has all sorts of cars...type, style, brand. Not just Japanese cars. European, American, etc, you name it.
And it's not just Tohge racing. It has Drags, road course, autocross, drift compitetion and more.
The fact that it's written around a group of girls is just... :D

Always ;)
btw the link is

I choose Initial D "bootlegs" over the "professionally translated" ones because I already got the unedited Vol1 (the one that they took off the shelves because the original names were there, I didnt have anything against TokyoPop until I read the 2nd vol..) and it was pretty good, seemed normal to me. Then I got the 2nd vol...and decided ill stick to the fansubs and scanlations, right? :)

I was more referring to the Love Hina mention. Another manga that's T-pop property. The TV series is Bandai's.
Illegal is illegal, in my book. I don't care what the justification is; paying for the Tokyopop release means money goes back to the creators, meaning more manga can be released. Sticking with bootlegs means reduced sales, meaning higher prices in the long run.
I support the American anime industry, and I support the Japanese creators of anime and manga. Fansubs had their day back when this was a niche hobby, and anything that didn't have robots or breasts didn't get released here. But now it's a rapidly growing force in the entertainment world that is influencing popular culture. Many anime are being co-funded by the licensors, and dubs are getting to the point where they not only can match, but can surpass the original Japanese tracks for quality and acting.
I, as well as many other journalists in the hobby, discourage the new wave of digisubbers and scanslators because of their rampant lack of professional ethics. There was an unwritten rule that once a series was licensed, you stopped subbing it: end of story.
This mangareaders site you're referring to is a perfect example of the lack of ethics in the new wave. Two licensed properties still in circulation. Complete disregard for ethical concerns or legal precedent.
Rest assured, this won't go un-noticed for long.

ColeIketani

Well Mitsu is coming out with a "clutchless" manual tranny, which isn't like Semi-Automatic trannies or something, but I doubt that's it.
JeffForSale!

There's powershifting, but that requires a clutch...
And the sequential automatics? Or the butterfly shifters? Theres are "manual" in a sense, and dont have clutches...

i have heard about it, but not much though. its mostly associated with motorcycles. anyways it is possible to shift without using the clutch and not kill the tranny. you basically need alot of rev matching skills to pull it off. also with todays modern tranny with synchros(some even have 3-4 for the first few gears) you dont need to be as precise. if you dont know what rev matching is, its the when you match the engine RPM to the speed of the transmission. so that the gears engage much smoother at the exact RPM the engine is suppose to be at that speed. so if you can rev match that good you dont need to help of the clutch, which is what the clutch is for.
