No the 4th gen Si hatch and 4th gen EX sedan....when I eventually get a new engine I'm gonna put in a new tranny and want to know if the EX and Si are the same.

Oh ok now they are different. Si is the cable tranny and ex is the hydro trans. The gears are much different. SI tranny is what i would go for cause its cable and its for your car. Its also just as good as the ex or a bit better?

Oh ok now they are different. Si is the cable tranny and ex is the hydro trans. The gears are much different. SI tranny is what i would go for cause its cable and its for your car. Its also just as good as the ex or a bit better?

your right. all 4th gens have cable trannys, even the EX 4dr. I know they are geared different, but it might just be the final drive thats different.
