OK I just installed a new set of angel eye headlights. Everything is working ok except the low beam H3 bulbs keep burning out. Ive used Nokya and just regular white bulbs, all just keep burning out. We've checked the wiring and nothing seems wrong so far. I have not upgraded the main harness and dont know if I even need too. If anyone has any information regarding this or has seen this problem with their 96 accord id appreciate any info from ya.

thanks,

seems to me that if you put a smaller fuse in, you will just blow fuses rather than burn out light bulbs. fuses do not take power out of the circuit, they just regulate the maximum current through it. i thought you were supposed to upgrade the wiring harness, for that exact reason. there is too much current running in there i would guess, which would be solved if the wiring harness includes resistors and the like. im probably really wrong though, especialy since i dont really know anything about wiring up new headlights.

I have a 6th generation 01 accord, and after I put some sylvania lo-beams, they burned for like 6 months..and then one blew out on me..a lil later, the other one blew out on me also....Sylvania did send me replacement bulbs. The fuse setting is the correct setting for the Accord, so Im wondering what the problem is.
