I just put my greddy evo exhaust on my 97 ls integra and it sounds really loud. i mean really loud. i thought evo's were'nt suppose to be loud but deep. By the way i have a type r cat on since i couldn't get my stock one off. those bolts are a b!tch to get off. Do you think thats why my exhaust is so loud?? Thanks.

More then likely that type r cat is whats causing it to be so loud cause any evo's that I've heard aren't very loud but have a real nice deep sound to them, maybe try a carsound cat there suppose to be good but whether or not changing from the type r to the carsound will change anything is a good question. I personally love the sound of the ones I've heard and was gonna get that system myself but found it's played out and over priced for something that will eventually rust.

Is there a actual difference between the type r and my stock ls cat? Would it be more free flowing since type r's are pretty much high end?

Without knowing alot about them i'm sure there more free flowing cause just like you said there more higher end.
