Rivers Cuomo vs. Kust Cobain
Ok, obviously Cobain was a big influence on Cuomo, which gives him an advantage. But Cuomo is ingenius in the way that he pieces together simple chords and solos (pre-maladroit) to create songs that have up to 6 different guitar parts, and yet they fit together perfectly. Both used mostly power chords, but Cobain seemed to go for the "simpler is better" theory. I vote for Rivers. What do you all think?
