sunfire fix up

I was wondering if there is anything anyone recommeds to do first to a 97 sunfire 5 spd. I plan on gettin the exhaust from jcwhitney that fits sunfires and caviliers

i heard if you port and polish your heads that it gives you the most hp for the buck.
