The one in the Fast and the Furious was a second generation Mitsubishi Eclipse. It was an RS, it was not a GS-T ir GSX. It was modeled after a nice GSX Eclipse, but it was slow in reality.

I am not sure what year, but it would be in between 1995 and 1998. Any of those years are a 2nd gen Eclipse. I am not sure what year the one in the movie was exactly.

Yes, I agree, an '86 Chevette it was.

In reality, I'm pretty sure it was a '98. I swear I remember knowing that or seeing, hearing it somewhere...

On Fast and Furious website, it says 1995 Eclipse. And they did the same with the FF2 purple Eclipse that Tyrese drives...It's stock, but made to look like a turbo. Here's some pics from the set.

Can you maybe use the small VB code on your sig ([SIZE=1 ] [ /SIZE]), it is awfully long to scroll through.
