tamiya is readily available in the states if you order online. and its very very easy to use. if you can get your hands on tamiya products, you're better off using them. it doesnt matter if your a beginner or an expert. its all good!!

For small scratches, holes and gaps use the Bondo Spot and glaze putty in Tube. For bigger holes and sinkmarks and body sculpting get Bondo Ultimate Putty in the can(2 part mix). Do not buy the regular Bondo because it is not as fine grained,th Ultimate costs more but it's worth it.

For glue try Testor's in the black triangular container with spout(at WAL-MART or hobby shop) it's good for things like glueing engine blocks together. For liquid glue the best is Ambroid Pro-Weld(at hobby shops) Good for all plastic structual glueing before painting.

For primer try Duplicolor primer-sealer which is thinner and finer grain than their regular primer(auto stores). If you use an airbrush Floquil model RR primer is very good quality primer(hobby shops). If you are doing allot of body work use Krylon white(for bright colors)or gray(for darker colors)primer.

Squadron is some of the worst putty around. Bondo's glaze and spot putty is abou 1/4th the price and much better quality and does not dry out in tube as fast. I use to use a long time ago before I knew better.

That's the stuff. Except that's Testor's liquid glue. The glue I referred to is in a black container and is between a liquid and tube glue in consticency. I actually use Faller Glue(hobby shops)it comes in a an bottle with a needle aplicator, it is similar to the Testor's her is a pic

becareful with the Duplicolor primer it orange peels really easy, i usually use it for my GKs(resin) but when i tried it on plastic it wasnt pretty. you should spray a dry coat far away, that way the thinner doesnt get a chance to eat into the plastic.
