Highest compression On B18A on pump gas?
Kunundrum

Guys I'm looking to drop a B18A in my CRX and though I should talk to Teg people to see just how high compression I can go with this engine without detonation. High octane here is 91, and I don't wanna have to rely on Octane boosters.
I was thinking like 11.5:1 or 12:1 is this possible and reliable, also what other mods should I perform to make this as reliable as possible.
I am planning on a MSD Ignition, Crower Cams, Eagle rods, and JE pistons. (along with new bearings and stuff)
Thanks

Well, I do know the Spoon B18 is 11.3:1 and you can put a TODA 6mm Head Gasket on for 12.3:1 . Spoon Engines are used for Endurance and are N/A only! If you want a N/A car...GO FOR IT! It will hold-up to Daily Driving but, Not Drag Racing or a Turbo or Supercharger!
