yep, the best thing to do is to go to the tein site.
tein.co.jp and download their pdf instructions on the HP11 for TYPE NA.
goood instructions on there with pictures and everything. only thing is, it's in japanese, but the illustrations speak for themselves.
when you raise your front up make sure you put another jack under the front arm so that the arm doesn't go down so far that the drive shaft joint doesn't come apart. dat would suck trying to put it back together. hehehe.
goodluck. :D

yours is the same as mine, i believe. You do need to remove the whole strut.
Firstly, with the front struts, remove wheel, undo strut brace bolts, undo strut retaining bolts, undo the top and bottom strut bolt which is on the top and bottom of the black coweling, and the whole strut comes off. Get your spring compressors and wind the spring down. You then need a good pair of pliers or mole grips to hold the centre shaft, and you'll need a deep ring spanner to undo the bolt. Once youve remobed the bolt, carefully remove the cover plate and bushes making sure you know which way they go back on. Then remove the spring. Repeat process to refit.
The rear strut is a bit easier. Remove wheel, look up inside the wheel arch and you'll see a collar around the strut top with two bolts. Remove the bolts at the top, and the bolt at the bottom, and presto! it'll come straight out. Do the same as the front to change the spring and then refit.
Simple.
Best to jack up the whole front or rear end and do both sides at the sametime.
I'll dig up some photos and post them. If still in doubt, email me.

does anybody know if you have to compress Intrax lowering springs for p10?

you always gotta compress the springs when you lower cars...in order for it not to shoot out and poke your eyes out :) i am serious though.
normally, you would take out the entire strut, compress the springs, open the top strut hat, take the springs out from the shocks and put new, lowering springs over the struts...compress the lowering springs so you can put the top hat back on, put the entire strut back in the car and done.

does anybody know how to change springs on the P10?

Pretty much same way. A strut's a strut basically.

so changing the springs on the p10 is basically the same way to change on a p11?

hey G420 that sounds kinda high!
if you have the extra cash go for it!
wont you void your factory waranty if you put thoses springs on?

It is a good price if you think about it....each corner usually cost $25 and the springs cost like $200 I believe...so its about right...you can do it yourself but you need to be semi-mechnically inclined and you'll need alittle bit of tools....so maybe you should try doing it yourself and save the extra $115....just a thought...

But if you don't have the tools you'll spend at least that much on them. However my first few ventures into shadetree mechanics a lot of the installation money that I would have normally spent went into buying tools. Now I have a pretty full complement of tools and have done about 4 suspension installs, 1 cam install, 2 short shifter installs, 1 header install, 2 pulley installs and maybe some other things I'm forgetting. :D
There's nothing like the satisfaction of doing it yourself.

I would pay that b/c they do cost about 200 and from my import store they would charge me a bill ($100) to install them. Go for it .

I get my spring compressor from Canadian Tire, I guess it's like a Pep Boys or Auto Zone down there. Anyway the rent out the tool for 3 days and it doesn't cost me a dime. I imagine there has got be a company down there that does the same thing.

changing coilovers are MUCH MUCH easier than changing just springs....if the coilover comes with everything and a top pillow ball mount. Basically just remove the entire stock strut, and put in the coilover. Done. :D

Hey thanks a lot for the feed back guys. I think I'm gonna do it. I know it would probably void the warranty but only on the suspension. Right???

actually, why buy it when you can get it for free?
Just like what Jason said...if you go to your local Pepboys, you can rent out a set of spring compressors for around $50 and if you return it within 10days, they'll give you a full refund. if you dont return it...then it's yours...so as long as you dont get lazy, you would save even more money this way.
good luck on the install...it's EZ...just dont be afraid and dont get paranoid and over tighten eveyrthing...that's what i did when i first rotated my tires, tighten the lugs so freaking hard that i actually managed to strip the stud

changing suspension is not going to void your warranty unless you have a problems occur related to the suspension modification.:bandit:
