What kind of paint do you use to paint the inside of the tail lights.

Tamiya Clear red, X-27. or do you mean the silver behind the tailights?

I do not like painting the back of tailights. On a real car there is a space between the lens and reflector so I paint or foil the body recess. Any bright silver is ok for a tail light but headlights should be chrome.

Tamiya Clear Red is a good choice. But I find it too transparent and I usually have to apply 3 or 4 thin coats. I sometimes use Tamiya Flat Red or Orange (for blinkers), applied on the inside of the clear part. I prefer the look. :D
