Type S in US

I live like 45 minutes from canada and have found 3 2000 type S ludes that i could buy and i cant find anyhting on the leagality of them in the US is there anything i have to do to make it street leagle in the US or is it allready there also is the type S worth the hype cause i was also looking at the 96 Si

As I understand it-the Type S 5th gen was only sold in Japan and therefore is right hand drive. I have no idea how you would go about "federalizing" the car. If it is left hand drive and has all of the US type goodies on it, you can import the car-but it will not be cheap.
You might want to drop a note to James Chan at www.performance-evolution.com in Edmondton as he does have a 5th gen.

you might have to put some emmissions equipment on it and im not sure about the left hand/right hand drive situation but i would get the type S if i had the chance.
