Question about a Trans Am

Hey guys, I was wondering if some of you could help me out with something. I've been a Honda driver for about 6 years now, and although I love my Preludes I am getting tired of dumping cash into an engine that will most likely never match that of an old muscle car. So I have started looking around at older modeled Trans Am's and Camaro's... Today I stumbled across one of the older 6.6 liter Trans Am's in a neighboring town. I wasn't able to get any additional information for the owner was not around. If I were to buy this car, I would love to go forced induction on it. I know pretty much nothing about American-made cars, so I was wondering what my options are for doing such a thing... Hopefully tommorrow I can get a year/mileage and all that other good stuff. Any helpful information you guys can give me will be more than appreciated...

6.6's are nice if they are in good condition. You can do a lot of mods to the motor w/out forced induction and it'll still run fast! I know a guy with a 6.6 that'll kick my @$$ (all motor). I would say go for it.

Yeah, the 6.6 is a decent engine, but I would rather have a 4.9 turbo, or an 88 5.7 GTA. we had a perfect condition 6.6 earlier last year on the showroom and I drove it thinking it would be hella fast, but was disappointed to find it wasn't what I had hoped for. But, if you like the car that is all that matters, and should be all that matters.

The 6.6 will plant you in your seat without any mods. :) Plenty of power...
