SO WHY DOES MY CAR KEEP BOUNCING??

I'VE GOT SOME AEROSPEED SPRINGS ON MY CAR AND I GET SOME...YEAH SOME BOUNCE. ITZ NOT LIKE CARS WITH CUT SPRINGS, BUT ITS STARTING TO GET AGRAVATING :bloated: . I HAVE MY STOCK SHOCKS ON AS WELL. CAN ANYONE GIVE ME SOME ADVISE AS TO HOW TO ELEMINATE SOME OF THIS BOUNNCE.

you'll probably need to replace your stock shocks since they're 13 years old, I'm guessing they're nearly shot. And for your sig, you have to put [IMG.]link[/IMG.] around your link without the . in there to get the picture to work, unless the picture is huge, then don't bother. :D

well, you atleast have to get new struts if not new springs as well. ;) if you use your stock struts with lowering springs their going to blow out and be mad bouncy. You dont really need new springs but (no offense is intended) aerospeed springs are kinda sucky. It will handle a lot better tho if you get new struts.

Please take your caps off, i can read the thread just fine with it off. Also like what everyone else says #1 you need new shocks b/c your stock ones probally blew out a while ago and #2 you may want to think about getting a better brand coilover in the long run. The cheap coilovers use high spring rates which account for the "rough" ride that you get.

Are you reffering to the Energy Suspension Kit ? If so it will only stiffen things up more. People on here have mixed feelings about the kit. It's not that hard to put in if you have the right tools and knowledge of what your doing.

that what i'm talking about...so with the energy kit there MIGHT be a chance that it increase the "BOUNCING EFFECT"

Dosent' make it bouncier but stiffer. The purpose of the kit is to make your suspension be stiffer, more responsive now if it does that well is another story, but if i were you i would look into a good set of coilovers or just plain lowering springs. Again if you go with lowering springs you get what you pay for. Than i would reccomend at least the GR-2's from KYB or better for a shock.

strut,strut,strut..........there are no shocks on our cars.........sheesh....and yeah if your car is bouncing it is the STRUTS....the struts control the dampening of you springs....bound and rebound.......bound being compressed and rebound spring becoming decompressed.....kyb make a nice adjustable.....like $85 a piece...coilovers are usually pretty bouncy because they are not linear nor progressively rated...one solid spring.........you need good stiff struts to make the coilovers work properly......and all the energy suspension bushing kit is gonna do is replace all those flimsy lil rubber bushings in your suspension with nice hard "rubber"......less flex equals better steering and handling response.........p.s...a bitch to put in if you don't have a nice press.........or if your car has been expose to salt......i.e. rusty......

ok, so let me get this straight... i need:

1) perferably KBY adjustable struts or gr-2's

2) better brand of coilovers or just some lowering springs

3) optional but better than without energy suspension kit

i guess a 4 wheel alignment wouldn't hurt either

i personally think that compared to any mod on your car....your suspension is the most important:D

I thought we had struts on the front and shocks on the back... maybe we should just refer to them as dampers :)

If i were you i would just go buy a nice set of springs. I don't care for the ride of coilovers anymore. I used to than i rode in a few cars with Eibachs and Neuspeed springs and wow...100x smooth and corner just as good as the coilovers.

i've got my coilovers all the way to the bottom and like how low my car siys....if it possible to get spring to get my car to sit that low.....should i get my rims first before i get the springs??
