So... my wiper fluid pump stopped working. I brought it into a shop and they charged me the $80.00 to diagnose that I needed a new switch because the motor works just fine when connected directly (the swithc is in the steering wheel turn signal stalk). They then wanted $300+ to get a part from a dealer and another $135 in labor. That is a lot of money to be able to see out of the windshield! I checked the local junkyards and they do not have one. I plan to keep searching for a used one but could use some tips on installing it once I find one.

Welcome to AF.
Try Ed Morad Parts Company on EBay for a used one.
The replacement procedure for a MFS is similar to replacing the ignition switch but easier. Let me know if you need a tech procedure.

Put the MFS from Morad on. It was worse... the hazard switch did not function correctly which threw everything else off! The wiper fluid pump also did not work still, which is what I was tring to fix. I put the original part back on and sent the Morad part back, had to pay for shipping again!! They sent another one, which I have not put on, but I wonder if I received some bad diagnostic work since that is now two MFS's I had that did not fix the wiper pump problem. Any other troubleshooting procedures I should try for the wiper fluid pump myself without bringing it back in for more diagnostic work.

Yeah, it sounds like your replacement part was defective but based on what I see maybe not the cause of the washer pump issue.
What diagnostic work was performed? Did they check wiring between the MFS and washer pump? How about the 12 volts from the ignition switch?

Honestly, I do not know what they did. They just told me I needed a MFS and it would cost $435.00 to have it fixed. So I replaced the MFS myself which cost $50, but now it looks like $50 wasted.

Scratch the suggestion on the ignition switch. The same 12 volts from the ignition switch is used by the wipers via the wiper fuse. It sounds like you may have an open wire between the MFS and washer pump electrical connector. I recall a wiring issue at the main fuse box located under the hood. It is just a pass through according to the FSM wiring diagrams. About all I can suggest is run a wiring continuity check (look for an open) between the respective connector block contact at the MFS harness under the driver's side dash and the pump electrical connector. Also, make sure the ground is good at the pump electrical connector.
