Another one that some of you might have seen on the other forums, but I thought I would show it here too. This one started from the Revell Californai Roller van kit (the green one). http://images17.fotki.com/v324/photos/1/178400/3710288/CRW_0104_RJ-vi.jpg

The roof-rack was made from brass and then plated with Caswell's electro-less plating (just drop in solution simmering on the stove and the plating begins: little more to it than that, but the basic concept).

Absolutely fabulous build. I would change one thing though and that is the orientation of the blower intake. Facing that rear deck like that might impede the full usefulness of the point. I am probably wrong, but that is what I thought. Incredible build though, really great machining.
5 stars hands down.

I've built one this year out of the Hasegawa HC11.
But just an out-of-box build.

Thanks for the compliment Enzoenvy! Great point on the blower hat! I thought about that and was going to reverse the hat to the back (like the drag boats). I thought, however, that it would get just as much air pointing in the front as it would reversed. It was just my preference for styling, but know what you're saying:) .
