93 Voyager fuel pump

My 3.0 V6 Voyager won't start. Tested battery, alternator, replaced ignition. My next thing is the fuel pump? Is it possible to do without relieving pressure and only 1 person performing it? (I've changed the filter before without relieving). I tried starter fluid in the air filter intake, no starting. Code is 13 and now displays "check panel"? Any info on these problems are appreciated!

Can you hear the fuel pump when you turn the key to assc. position? Of course I dont know if its elec. or mech on a 93. Does the starter fluid help at all? Maybe turn over faster? How does it turn over with out starting fluid, normal, slow? I sure hope someone else replies to this, cause I really don't know how the elec setup on the ignition is on your year. Will do some checking.

I believe the short whining sound is the fuel pump. Starter fluid does not help. I'm trying to find the MAP sensor location, it is displayed as a fault code, 13 (no change in MAP from start to run).

even with a bad MAP, it should still start & run in limp mode
if starting fluid does not work, you not have a fuel problem, but maybe a spark problem
yank one of the spark plug wires & either take out the plug, or grab a spare, stick it in the wire & ground it against the engine, & crank the engine over, look to see if its sparking at all, i know you said you replaced the ignition, but that doesn't mean shit now days, be sure to check it for proper function, i've had bad coils & modules right out of the box
so check for spark at the plug, its the only thing that makes sense, the car should fire up when spraying the Ether in the intake with a proper ignition system, when you let off on the Ether, it should sputter & shut off

Thanks, I found the MAP disconnected it, did not start. I'll try the Spark plug test and get back.
