Light electrical problem

Hi all, thanks in advance for any help and advice!! You guys are the best!!!
02 Buick Regal LS
(note: when I refer to dash lights, only the background lights behind the speedometer and odometer and climate control and such. Not the radio, warning lights or even the rear defrost light on the climate control.)
The 15 amp fuse was blowing that controlled the dash lights and taillights. I would change it and it would be good for about a week. (Haven't had time to dig into why it was doing it yet)
The other day, ran out of 15 amp fuses and decided (stupidly I know) to put in a 25 amp to hold me over for the evening (I meant to change it later that night, but forgot).
The next day, the dash lights and taillights blew again, but of course the 25 amp fuse was fine. And to add on to that, now the brake lights were out (blinkers work though), the cruise control doesn't work, the automatic lights sensor doesn't work (headlights still work, but only manually), and the 'dinging' alarm as if the lights have been left on after the key is removed stays on until the door closes.
What did I blow up? I've read alot about the headlamp switch and the 20 amp Park fuse under the hood (it's 4:00am, I'll check tomorrow) but in everything I've read, the symptoms aren't exactly the same. Most people only had the tail lights and dash lights. Does the headlamp switch control all of the above that I'm talking about?
Thanks again.

The headlamp switch doesn't control all the above but most less cruise control so it is a possibiliy. Have you tried disconnecting the DRL module and see what it does?
Also, did you recently replace an ignition switch assembly?
