2004 TB Check Engine Soon Light -- How to Turn it Off

Just had my 61000 mile check up at the dealer and the Check Engine Soon light came on today.... I'm sure there's a trick to get to shut it off right?

if it is on then there is a problem. would be good idea to get codes read first. also, check gas cap, if loose can cause that to come on.

If the light is on, then the PCM (computer) has detected a problem with the vehicle and set a code.
You can go to one of the chain parts houses and have them pull the code ( make sure they give you the number and code description..do let them sell you the "Part that will fix it" )
Post the code here and someone can help you to diagnose it.
Some of the most common codes are for the EVAP system (P0440 etc..)
I have posted some where..I think in Chevy Truck what those codes mean
