ok so i have a 97' jimmy with the 4.3L and i cant figure why it's acting like this.
The truck always leaks anti freeze from the bottom near the tranny and don't know what it is.
The truck temperature doesn't rise a whole lot but does sometimes then goes back down. Tried putting in the stop leaking chemical but nothings worked. Also had a mechanic look at it and couldnt really diagnose the problem.
Theres always like this bubling sound coming from the interior near where your feet are.. Sometimes you can feel it lose power and i don't know why that would happen.
anyone had the same problem before or might know what it would be?

Low coolant level will cause all of the symptoms you described. It's very common for the lower intake manifold gaskets to leak on the 4.3L engine. Have the cooling system pressure tested to locate the leak.

2+ years ago I had this problem on my '97 and I took it to a shop because i couldn't see the leak and wanted a pressure test done. The mechanic's wife said he took a long time trying to find it but in the end it was a "hose at the back of the engine" ($60 labor to fix). I have never seen this hose and I couldn't find it in my shop manual diagrams but it hasn't leaked since. Of course, as a previous poster said the intake manifold gaskets are absolute and utter garbage so before and since then I never fully tightened my rad cap (I have leaks at the intake manifold). I know I'm not helping much but I thought I'd chime in anyway.
Check your freeze plugs too.
As for the gurgling, run the engine until it warms up and the thermostat opens and the coolant level in the rad drops. Then pour more coolant in until you top it off. That should fix the gurgling noise problem, assuming you have flushed in the last couple of years.
