cup holder repair=

1998 (base model). slammed a drink into the cup holder and broke the plastic that holds the little wire on the bottom . anyone replace or repair such already? even if i find one at a salvage yard it don,t look easy to pull it out.

There is a metal clip on top of either side of the slide-out drink holder, about an inch from either edge. Depress each clip and the holder should slide out fully. Practice at the salvage yard on the Lumi/Monte with the color of your choice. Don't be too surprised to see several of them already broken. They are not a very robust piece.
