We also dont know what kind of car it is... turbo or non turbo?
Cheap BOV's are a no-no. Port jobs get expensive unless you know what you are doing (no offense, but I wouldnt suggest you do it yourself) but also thats not something that should be done right off the bat. If you have a turbo car you cant put a headeR (only one) on and a tubular manifold wouldnt be a good use of money IMO. Again, I dont know what trim of car you have, but an intake system may or may not be a good idea. I dont think its a good mod to do to a turbo car unless you are making a lot of power, trying to squeeze as much power out of a given turbo as you can, or just have a lot of money to throw around. A K&N would be a good thing to get though. Plugs and wires and/or a fuel pump are the only two things on that list I would recommend.

I vote for getting it running and seeing how much that is going to cost and then go from there. Maintenance is a winner and also a bitch sometimes.

You still wont see much gain from porting the head unless your making a lot more power. Get a K&N filter and a 1gen BOV.
