hi does anyone know why my car is a very noisey diesel even when warm considering its only got 3000 miles on the clock

Diesel engined cars are noisy, it's the design of the engine. Should be less noisy from inside the car, due to noise insulation. Petrol engined cars are quieter, but you'll get better mpg from a diesel. Did you not test drive the car first?

hi mate you mis understand i know diesels are noisy i mean its exessive my girlfriend has a diesel van with over 100 thousand on and its quiter my clio is very loud i have heard it could be because of the injectors apparently they are new modded version

I now see what your saying. The newer diesels are cdti, instead of older dti & the d (none turbo), versions. My brother owns a 03 Clio 1.5 cdti (lower bhp version). Not sure whether the higher bhp cdti models are noisier though? Wouldn't think squeezing a few more bhp out of the engine would make it any noisier. Not sure whether a turbo would make diesel engines any noisier either. Probably not on tick over.
Might be a good idea if you can find someone with a similar vehicle to compare yours with.
