used tire storage question=

i,ve got a used tire that i want to save. preferably in the attic. it seldom freezes here. should i just wrap the tire in plastic and lay it flat on it,s side? do i need to occasionally flip the tire over? appreciate any advice. Jim.

it really doesn't matter, tires are so stiff that the weight of the tire alone won't do anything to deform it.
