I need help with a 96 metro

We ran out of gas and car wont start I replaced fuel filter it will start and run a few minutes then quit and not start again untill it sits a couple of hours. It is getting gas to the throttle body could this be a problem with the enjector if so how do I replace it or check for problems with it Thank You.

do you hear your fuel pump come when you turn your key on? I would check fuel pressure to the throttle body as well. They need 16-23 psi for fuel pressure. Running it out of gas could have killed the fule pump.
