Heating and A/C blower?

I haven't seen this problem before but with the recent cold weather I've been having my blower for both my Heat and A/C not working. Seems like when the car gets warmed up a little it starts to work but I don't remember this happening last winter. Not sure if its even weather related but my blower comes on after the car has warmed up a little. When the car is warmed up the A/C and heat work fine and blower runs on high and low just fine. Any help would be appreciated. I always come to this forum first cause y'all have solved several things in the past. Thanks. FYI--Car is an '01 LX

The 7th gens use a high current transistor to control fan speed (no more blower fan resistor units used) It may be possible that your motor could be too tight, You could have an intermittent electrical connection as well.
Do you just have high and low speed only once working, or do the other more centered speeds work ??

The blower seems to work good once it starts up. Some days it comes on right away after starting the car and other days it takes a few minutes of warm up. The speed is not affected once it starts up cause I have all speeds and heat and A/C controls working good once its on. Like you said maybe I have an electrical connection problem but then I would think it would come and go rather than be completely off or completely on. Also its never happened while I'm driving. Only happens once the car has sit over night or a few days.

The motor could be tight and not wanting to start once it sets for a while.
Try taking out the cabin filters and you should be able to see the fan, Try to spin it to see if it is tight or not.
