98 chevy venture idling high/rough

Hello, I have 98 venture, idling high when stopped and parked. Runs fine in highway and roads. The code tells me to replace the EGR valve. Would that cause it? I also have a broken pcv hose that I have to replace. Would it have anything to do with the idle control valve? should I replace it as well, or wait until replacing the egr/ pcv tube? thanks for your input!:sunglasse

Rough idleing is one of the symptoms of a bad fuel pressure regulator which is what my 02 Venture is showing currently. In my case, it's a leaking FPR which I'll be replacing this weekend. Part is on order.

I solve rough / high idling on my 2000 venture by cleaning Idle Valve (very easy). It was really dirty !
