sledgehammer.
jk i think its 2 bolts on top and two underneith. some people are able to pry the bumper down and get the ones under, otherwise you might have to take the bumper off. it sounds like a pain, but taking the bumper completely off isnt a bad idea, ive found. When I took mine off, there was a bunch of wires and other stuff i was able to clean up. also, depending on what your car is used for, you might just go ahead and put zipties in instead of bolts for the bottom ones. When I'd go to the track i'd have that "quick disconnect" for the passenger side headlight.

THANK YOU for using the subforums. :)
My best advice for this is to hit up Autozone and get a Haynes manual. Those are amazing for people just starting as it tells you very specifically how to get it off.

Do you mean those POS plastic screws with the gay useless anchors? F*CK, does anyone ever have problems with those? they usually hold plastic pieces together.

My whole front when so rusted together that all the metal screws heads came off while still inside wherever. All the plastic screws with the anchors were also brittle and snapped like twigs. When I did my headlights I half-assed it. After the accident, I had to change everything out. Every but and bolt on the front end of my car is new. Can't figure out why everything was so rusty, but it's an old car. Something you have to deal with.

My front end was smashed in and the frame was bent so i had to use an ass load of washers and alot longer screws in order to make my headlights sit in their previous positions. Such a pain in the ass, but its fun.

I wasn't sure if IL used salt or not, but since they do, that's EXACTLY why your bolts are rusted to hell. Salt ruins cars, period.

I like the wheels, but shitty camera phone pics FTL. :)

I hate it when people try to sell things with camera phone pics. Pisses me off. Look at that detail.... ya well it's hard to without a camera that takes decent pics. Jerkfaces.
Headlights look good. BUT, why half-ass? If it doesn't line up, make it line up. I wouldn't be surprised if the headlight shakes while driving which annoys the piss out of me when I'm in front of someone like that. Make it align up.

I just positioned the headlamps (with the bumper off) the way they were supposed to be. Once positioned, i marked the frame where teh holes were supposed to be and proceeded to drill 2 holes.
The lamp was about an inch away from the frame:eek2: so i got longer screws and placed washers in between the frame and lamp. DAmn it looked good afterwards, sturdy and visually appealing.:grinyes:
