I bought a new turbo

Only a small upgrade from my e316g but I bought a Forced Performance 18g

off of dsmlink forums. Only 600 miles on and its been turbo timed and barely used. The guy decided to go with a t4 setup and pooched his mitsu everything. So I got a great deal on it 400 bucks :) With the resale on my existing turbo my expenses should be minimal. And no need to say but the 18g is a direct replacement so it will be a pop one turbo off and pop the other one kinda deal should be good im excited.

Damn, and I was wanting to hear how that 54 trim was gonna go for you. Too bad that ass hole ripped you off. Hope the 18g works out for you. What are your future goals for it, and what psi do you plan on running? Not to get you down, but my buddy said he wasn't able to make 400whp on his gst with the 18g, and he had it maxed out (waste gate hose disconnected). He only made 320 on the 16g that same way. But then again every car is different too. Either way, it will be better than the E316g. The v8s will be nothing but a spot on your mirror.

Yay 18g's. Despite my early posts, I think I might end up with a FP 18g as well due to their high efficiency at higher boost pressures. I might just go with an Evo III 16g to see if I can/how far I can get up the list on DSMtimes.org. Just so you know, Kevin, I am gunning for your time!

I'm right next to it. Where in ND? I'll be more than happy to pay a bitch a visit for you if you'd be willing to hack a couple green backs off the price of your E316g when you want to sell it :p. JP man, if its in or near Fargo or Grand Forks, I wouldnt think twice about it.

haha awesome no I think this guy has good intentions he told me he tried to send it today but they needed my phone number so he couldn't so I gave him the number and hopefully it should be out tommorow.

As for what PSI I plan on going at prolly around the same as my e3 bout 24psi and hopefully 350hp but I doubt it. I know I won't make 400 on it thats just not gonna happen. I just hope I haven't hit terminal velocity in my IM and throttle body.
Anyone know what's the most a stock 2g IM and throttle body made?

Dude, I've got a 1g IM, TB, and head if you want... maybe trade you for that Evo III 16g? :naughty: I think all you 7 bolt guys need to do is have the head bolt holes bored an extra couple mm and BAM decent flow numbers.

IIRC, there was a pretty hardcore DSMer on tuners that was from Minot. You could probably verify his selling status on tuners if he has any rep points over there.
