Hello Group,
I have been reading plenty of negative stuff about the DEX-COOL which is used in GM vehicles. Is it best to flush and refill the system regularly or should I stick to the factory recommnedations?
My ION has 67K on it and I never have do anything to the cooling system yet.
Thanks

Coolant along with any other fluids do wear out over time. Since your car is a 2003 it is over five years old, and the coolant should be changed. The recommended interval is every 5yrs or 100,000 miles, so yes you should change it. Hope that helps you
