Xtype Jag info request: gas, service?

Hi:

My local CarMax has a 2002 XType Jag, automatic transmission 3.0, 32k miles, that I'm very interested in.

Have some questions, though. What kind of fuel do the Jags prefer; I've heard that you have to use premium. Also, would I have to take it to a Jag dealer for all maintainance?

The X Type requires premium fuel - it has a high compression engine. A good independent can service it, but, stay away from the quick change lube places. The Jag's a little too exotic for them.
