My car at the drag strip ( videos )

Took my car to the drag strip yesturday for the last race of the season. This is all from me rolling off the line at 3K and not doing any burn outs.

60' times were in the 2.1 and 2.2 range, MPH is in the 105-107 range. and was consistently in the 13.5-13.6 second range.

my worse run of the day when launching at 5K too much wheel spin and killed my 60' and trap speed

He actually blew that run and ran a 16. I was expecting a good race from him. I saw him run again and he ran a 14.0 @105mph so he definitely blew the first run with me. Now my goal is to hit 110mph n/a. I still got a few mods that I can do to ekk that last 2.5 mph.

Even still, running a 14 flat and trapping 105mph......he could easily do better. So what other mods did you have in mind?

Thats not what they normally run tho, look at his trap, its much higher then a 14.0 would indicate

I never knew that LS2 GTO's ran 15.4's either. SHHHAAAZAAM! Sorry to open old wounds but I had to Musashi. :wink: It's all in good fun.

Hahaha, I still can put a lighweight flywheel, a underdrive pulley, and a chip. That should put in safely in the 110mph trap speed range. Yeah that mach 1 with the 105mph trap speed should be a low 13 second car with drag radials. Just like how mine should be a 13 flat car with drag radials. Right now i'm broke though so I think i'm happy with these numbers.

Ya know Tat, every time I look at your car, it reminds me of the first time I ever saw an NSX. So, from now on, you need to do something. Every time you get in that car, look into the rearview and say:

"You ain't got no problem, Jules. I'm on the motherfucker. Go back in there, chill them negros out and wait for the Wolf who will be coming directly."

Nice runs. That's the first time I've seen an NSX at a track. It's kind of strange to see a Honda/Acura running 13's without all the fart-can noise.

My car actually has a very exotic tone to it. I still have my cats on so its not that loud. Now cassiesman, where did you get that quote from?

sweet. weird to see the nsx at a drag strip though. car looks sexy as usual. my jaw just drops when ever i see an nsx. and thats maybe 1 a year tops.

its interesting how In my area, they're starting to pop out of no where. I must've saw like 5 in like the span of 6 months already.

Move to southern california, they're pretty common out here.

I see them on a regular basis, and it's always some asian dude with spikey hair driving it too. They always look like they're so badass... but I can see it... I can see it in their eyes... they're totally failing calculus and their dad is going to kill them when they get home.

hahah, when i was searching for one, all the clean ones that was selling for a reasonable price was all from cali. but you know what we have over you guys? we have 93 octane fuel!!!

lol^^ yea there pretty popular here too, more popular than expected atleast.
its not like i see one every day, but i do see one a couple times a month.
seen one at the track a few years ago. guy was running 13.4's pretty consistantly. he was pretty well modded also. i think he actually should have gotten better times then he was getting.
