Does an 01 Ext. Cab S10 have lube fittings for the U-joints?

usually factory u-joints don't have grease fittings on them. If your u-joints do chances are they are aftermarket replacements. if you decide to replace them make sure you put them the right way so you don't have to take off your driveshaft to grease them. a little careful planning never hurt anything

I bought a grease needle at O'reilly's for greasing the u-joints. These are replacement u-joints, as drifttruck said, the originals are sealed and not greasable.

The needle I bought is not the one with the sharp point for inserting into boots. It has a point slightly smaller than the tiny ball in the grease fitting. Insert the needle pushing the ball into the fitting and sealing the needle inside the housing of the fitting. I put a fitting on the other end of the needle so I can put it on and take it off the grease gun as needed.

Thanks for the reply. Mine are currently factory (explains why I couldn't find the grease fitting).
I hope that after I repalce them (when the time comes) that shudder from a dead stop will disappear.
